Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Introduction
Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how Social Doko collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Personal information
When you create an account or interact with our services, we may collect information such as your name, email address, contact details, and account information.
Usage data
We collect information about how users interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, device information, and general usage patterns. When you sign up and when you use the dashboard, we also record the country you are in, worked out from your IP address or your device's time zone, and the days you use Social Doko. For this we keep only the country, not the IP address.
Social account data
If you connect a social network, we store account identifiers, encrypted credentials, posts, conversations, and analytics needed to run publishing, inbox, and reporting for your workspace.
Facebook and Instagram data
When you connect Facebook or Instagram through Social Doko, we receive data Meta provides after you grant permission: your app-scoped user ID, Pages you choose, Page names, Page access tokens, Instagram professional account IDs, messages and comments you import into inbox, and Page insights used for reporting. We use this only to publish content you schedule, show and reply to inbox conversations, and display analytics in your workspace. We do not sell this data, use it for ads, or share it with other Social Doko customers.
TikTok data
When you connect TikTok through Social Doko, we receive data TikTok provides after you grant permission: your open_id, display name and username, and access and refresh tokens, which we store encrypted together with the times they expire. Your profile picture is loaded when it is shown and is not stored. We use this only to publish the photos and videos you create or schedule in Social Doko, with the privacy, comment, Duet, Stitch and commercial-content choices you make before each post, and to send posts from the assistants you switch on to your TikTok drafts, where you finish and publish them in TikTok. We keep each post's TikTok publish ID and its result so you can see whether it was published. Your current posting options from TikTok are read when you post and are not stored. We do not sell this data, use it for ads, or share it with other Social Doko customers. Disconnecting TikTok in Channels deletes your TikTok tokens, and you can also revoke Social Doko in TikTok Settings.
WhatsApp data
When you connect a WhatsApp number, either through WhatsApp Business on Meta or by linking your WhatsApp account with a QR code, we receive the number, its display name, the chats and messages sent to and from that number, media in those chats, and the names and phone numbers of the people who message you. A number linked with a QR code stays linked to Social Doko as a device until you disconnect it. We use this only to show and reply to your WhatsApp conversations in the Social Doko inbox, including the automatic replies you switch on, and to notify your team. We do not sell this data, use it for ads, or share it with other Social Doko customers. Disconnecting the number in Channels ends the link and removes its credentials.
LinkedIn data
When you connect LinkedIn through Social Doko, we receive data LinkedIn provides after you grant permission: your LinkedIn member ID, name, email address, profile picture, headline, profile address and number of connections, access and refresh tokens, and, for LinkedIn Company Pages you administer and choose to connect, the Page's ID, name, logo and public details (such as its description, website, industry and location), its posts, the comments on them with the commenter's name when LinkedIn provides it, and its follower, visit and post statistics. We use this only to publish the posts you create or schedule in Social Doko to your profile or those Pages, to show and answer comments on your Pages' posts in Inbox (if you switch on Comments for a Page, an AI model reads new comments and replies as the Page), to show your Pages' statistics in Analytics, and to show whether each post was published. If you have access to LinkedIn lead forms for a connected Page (on its ads, Events, product pages or the Page), we also receive the leads people submit through them (the answers they give, such as their name, email, phone, company and job title, and which form and campaign they came from) and the Page's ad accounts, and use them only to show each lead in your Inbox and notify your workspace's admins. Because LinkedIn does not share your bio or website with apps, Social Doko asks you a few questions after you connect: your name, what you do, your industry, your website or portfolio, and anything else you choose to add. An AI model writes a short professional bio from your answers and the public pages of that website, and our AI agents use it only to write posts for your account. We keep your answers and the bio with your workspace so connecting the same LinkedIn account again does not ask again; you can edit them in Automations or ask us to delete them. We do not sell this data, use it for ads, or share it with other Social Doko customers. Leads stay in your Inbox until you delete them or ask us to. Disconnecting LinkedIn in Channels deletes your LinkedIn tokens, and you can also remove Social Doko in your LinkedIn settings under Data privacy.
X data
When you connect X through Social Doko, we receive data X provides after you grant permission: your X user ID, name and username, and access and refresh tokens. We use this only to publish the posts you create or schedule in Social Doko and to show whether each post was published. We do not sell this data, use it for ads, or share it with other Social Doko customers. Disconnecting X in Channels deletes your X tokens, and you can also revoke Social Doko in your X settings under Connected apps.
Gmail and Google data
When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture, and use them only to identify your Social Doko login. When you additionally connect a Gmail mailbox as a channel, you grant the gmail.modify permission and we receive, for messages in that mailbox's inbox: the sender's name and address, the recipients, the subject, the date, the message text, and the labels on it, together with access and refresh tokens. We use this only to show those messages in your Social Doko inbox beside your other channels, to let you and the AI agents you switch on reply inside the same email thread, and to mark a message as read once it has been answered. We do not read your sent mail, and we skip the promotions and social categories. To draft a reply, the text of that message is sent to our AI model provider, which processes it only to write that reply and does not use it to train its models. We do not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, show it to other Social Doko customers, or let anyone at Social Doko read it except where you ask us to for support. Social Doko's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Disconnecting Gmail in Channels deletes the mailbox's tokens and its stored messages; you can also remove Social Doko at myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time.
How we use your information
We use collected information to improve the platform and provide a better user experience. This includes providing platform functionality and analytics, improving performance and platform features, communicating important updates or notifications, ensuring security, and providing customer support.
Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. This includes encryption, secure infrastructure, and monitoring systems designed to prevent unauthorized access. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system can guarantee complete security.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may only be shared with trusted service providers who help operate the platform, maintain infrastructure, or provide support services. These partners are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights related to your personal data, including accessing the information we hold about you, requesting correction of inaccurate information, requesting deletion of personal data, or limiting certain data processing. Requests related to your data can be submitted through our support channels.
How to request deletion of Facebook data
You can disconnect a Page from Channels in Social Doko, which removes its access token. You can also remove Social Doko from Facebook Settings → Apps and websites and click Send Request. That calls our data deletion callback and removes Facebook and Instagram credentials we stored for your login. Email hello@socialdoko.com if you need help. Status for Facebook-triggered requests is at https://socialdoko.com/legal-pages/data-deletion.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Our platform may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, remember preferences, and analyze website performance. Users can adjust browser settings to control or disable cookies if preferred.
Third-party services
Our platform may integrate with Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Google (Gmail). Those services have their own privacy policies. We also use AI model providers to write captions, posters and replies on your instruction, and a payment provider to take subscription payments.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updated policies will be published on this page.
